Who wouldn’t want to feel like a Water Goddess when you have that beauty as a background? (I meant the miniature falls, not me. :P) “FIRST!!!” Yesterday, November 29, 2012, was one of the best month-end days my batch has ever had. For the English Month Celebration, my classmates and I joined some contests and what did we know, every single one of us won the first place! Ohh, how lovely is that? Everyone was called up on the stage and all of us were screaming, “Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-Rizalamooooooooon!!!” Don’t worry, you don’t have to figure out what that means because only Rizalamons (that’s us) understand that. That’s kind of out inside joke. Anyway, we were probably the loudest cheerers, like the loud people we are, during the awarding and who was to tell us, “Shut up!”? The other people there could see how happy we were and they didn’t even try to burst our bubble. Okay, here goes: Declamation 1st Place Winner - Jeanne Ivy Omelda Extemporaneous Speaking 1st Place Winner - Jeanne Ivy Omelda Essay Writing Contest 1st Place Winner - Jeanne Ivy Omelda Spelling Bee 1st Place Winner - Asherah Odyssey Malabago (that’s me. Our classmate, Gel Anne Joyce Dacuro got the 2nd Place for this ~_~v) Jazz Chant Competition CHAMPION - IV-RIZAL (that’s us! :D) Well, we didn’t see this one coming. But it was a very nice surprise. It’s not everyday that your section gets to claim almost all of the contests’ 1st Place Awards, no? And since we are a graduating batch, it is a very big deal for us. :DD With all our efforts paying off in our very eyes, well, you might think this is a very very vain and proud statement but, let’s face it, we are WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! :D P.S. I feel that yesterday was a nice welcome gift for the month of December. =)
I’m sixteen. But even until now, I still don’t get why they claim that kissing is a sweet thing. If it were true, then why don’t our lips get ants whenever we smooch? Ridiculous claim, ain’t it? It makes sense. Up there are images of young people eating their mouths off. Srsly. Mouths are instruments for speaking, communicating, drinking, preaching, convincing, or preferably, eating. Surely not “being eaten off”. Kissing is a nice way of expressing one’s love and adoration for another, but not lust and just for the fun of it. Kissing is a way of telling someone what words cannot express. The sweetest kiss you can ever give to someone is the moment that your eyes meet, silently telling each other that you are the only ones your eyes can see, and then their lips meeting in the softest way possible. Note: Kissing does not have to be torrid. You might not want saliva dripping on your clothes too much, right?
